The Hot Sculpting treatment with the Fotona laser device eliminates excess fat in the areas to be treated by heating these areas at high temperatures. The heat will destroy fat cells permanently without surgery. The advantage of Hot Sculpting over CoolSculpting is that, unlike cold, heat also stimulates collagen. Patients can therefore expect to have better skin tone following treatment, in addition to fat loss.

HOW DOES IT WORK

The laser lipolysis procedure does not require general anesthesia. During this procedure, a thin 1 mm cannula, connected to a laser source, is inserted under the skin. The procedure lasts on average from 30 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. Thanks to the heat of the laser, the adipocytes burst and release the trapped fat. Once destroyed, fats are naturally processed or eliminated by your body. Furthermore, the thermal effect of the laser melts old and hardened collagen fibers while creating new ones. This allows for better retraction of the skin after the procedure. The skin tissue is more elastic and toned, the skin is tightened.
