Hyaluronic acid is a natural constituent of the skin, it is the substance in which collagen and elastin are bathed, responsible for the firmness of the skin and its elasticity. The fantastic thing about these products is that they do not have a permanent effect like plastic surgery, the healing time is minimal and they are effective.

We also offer the only injectable polylactic acid product on the Canadian market. Unlike hyaluronic acid which is present in the human body, polylactic acid is of plant origin, but it is still biocompatible (not rejected by the body) and biodegradable (metabolized by the body).

HOW DOES IT WORK

The injection session lasts on average 30 minutes. This duration may vary depending on the number of areas to be treated. Several areas can be treated in the same session. Injected under wrinkles or furrows, hyaluronic acid will fill them. It is also intended for harmonizing facial volumes. It will be used to restore the cheekbones, the tear valley area, the chin and the temples, to outline and give volume to the lips.

Polylactic acid + -

Sculptra is the only injectable polylactic acid product on the Canadian market. Unlike hyaluronic acid which is present in the human body, Sculptra is of plant origin, but it is still biocompatible (not rejected by the body) and biodegradable (metabolized by the body).

It has the effect of stimulating the self-production of collagen in the places where it is injected and not filling like hyaluronic acid. Its biostimulation action is progressive and natural.

It is used to correct skin imperfections, such as loss of volume and tone of the skin, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, cellulite, and to provide overall rejuvenation of the skin. Sculptra is also used in cases of facial fat loss, because with age we lose more and more, which can lead to volume irregularities and tissue sagging.

Once placed under the skin, the gel mixes with the tissues, with an effect visible immediately after the session. Wrinkles are instantly improved.

The effect of hyaluronic acid is temporary, 6 to 8 months for the most fluid products and up to 18 months for the most volumizing products. Being fully biodegradable, it disappears without a trace. It is therefore necessary to repeat the injections regularly to maintain the treatment.
