What are the different types of stretch marks?

Red/purple so-called immature stretch marks

A recent stretch mark is thus called “immature”: it is red or purple in color. This color results from the fact that the stretch mark is then in the inflammatory phase. Indeed, stretching the skin damages fibroblasts. In response, the dermis becomes inflamed.

So-called mature white stretch marks

A repair process then begins to replace the damaged cells. At this stage, we speak of so-called mature stretch marks and then become pearly white.

Eat a balanced diet + -

We can never repeat it enough, but diet is often the key to many health problems. Eating healthy will help stabilize your weight and thus avoid sudden weight gain or loss.

Practice regular physical activity + -

Sport is health ! Not only is sport good for morale, because it releases endorphins (pleasure hormone), but it is simply essential for the functioning of our body. Our advice: Walk at least ½ hour a day and try to practice a sport regularly. Give your muscles time to rest properly between each session so as not to damage your muscle fiber.

Moisturize and massage your skin + -

Moisturizing your skin daily with creams enriched with elastin and collagen is an essential step to deeply repair your skin.

Protect yourself from the sun + -

Avoid the sun at all costs without protection. Tanning on your stretch marks will cause irreversible pigmentation of them.
