HOW DOES IT WORK

Botulinum toxin is used in low-dose local injections to cause temporary muscle paralysis to reduce wrinkles. Injections of this product only act on wrinkles of muscular origin, and have a resting effect on the injected muscles.

Botulinum toxin injections are often used along with hyaluronic acid injections. The first relaxes the muscle and the second has the effect of filling in wrinkles. It is often helpful to use both techniques to treat an entire face.

YOUR RESULTS

The results following botulinum toxin injections are not immediate, unlike hyaluronic acid injections. Results begin after approximately 4 to 7 days, and are optimal on the 14th day.

While rejuvenating the face, botulinum toxin gives it a relaxed, more serene and rested appearance. It lasts four months to six months on average, is reversible and significantly increases its duration of action over the course of the sessions.

Generally, one or two maintenance sessions per year are enough to maintain good results.
