Fine lines and wrinkles, what are they?
Everyone defines wrinkles in their own way, some say it is a mark of wisdom, others consider them a problem.
In themselves, wrinkles are folds and hollows that form in the skin as it ages and loses its natural collagen. Collagen is a protein that plays a key role in the appearance and health of the skin. It prevents it from slackening, allows it to absorb water more easily and helps it regenerate. It is generally what gives the skin its firmness, suppleness and radiance.
Wrinkles first appear as fine lines, which are smaller, and become wrinkles when their depth reaches 1 millimeter.
